Vanisha is a photographer and visual anthropologist based in London.
The driving force in her creative works derives from a passion for the potential for empathetic connection through visual storytelling.
She graduated with a degree in Anthropology and Visual Practice
from Goldsmiths University of London in 2023, being predominently drawn to topics on migration, race and belonging.
She is currently completing her MRes in Anthropology at UCL, continuing her exploration of migration, sovereignty and associated political subjectivities.
Her piece 'La Double Absence' was featured in the ITHACA Diary Contest 2024, as well as a subsequent discussion panel, organised with Kingston University, to which she was invited to speak on.
She also photographed for Deptford X Community Arts Festival 2025.
